"As a devoted Deneuve user I've been looking for a satisfactory substitute for my favorite scent for a long time. My husband discovered your web site and I have ordered Cannes twice now. I actually still have some Deneuve reserves which I purchased wherever I could find it when the manufacturer stopped making the original perfume. They sit in my refrigerator to preserve the scent so I've been able to make a direct comparison of the two fragrances. I think there might be a bit more intensity in the original, however, they both arrive at very much the same warm, sensual quality. I prefer Cannes in the atomizer version simply because I like the way the fragrance permeates and lingers in my clothing. I wish you made a bath powder because after being a miser with my remaining Deneuve powder, I'm getting very close to the bottom of the container and the powder adds a wonderfully soft, lush quality to a fragrance I already love.
